Therapeutic Horsemanship

What is Therapeutic Horsemanship?

Our therapeutic horsemanship program is a non-clinical horsemanship-focused service intended as a support for clients who have made prior  mental health-related gains through counseling.

Through participation in therapeutic horsemanship activities, clients have the opportunity to deepen their connection with equines while remaining in a supportive environment understanding of different types of mental health needs.

All activities are provided by PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors (or Instructors-In-Training) and may include:
  • Groundwork
  • Riding
  • Grooming
  • Equine Care and Husbandry
  • Participation in equestrian competitions
