How can i make a donation?

You can make a donation by visiting our Donate page or by mail. Our mailing address is PO Box 123737, Fort Worth, TX 76121. You can also make a donation through our PayPal Giving Fund page. PayPal covers all fees.

How will my donation be used?

Your donation will be used primarily to support direct costs associated with equine-assisted counseling and post-counseling non-clinical activities. Some examples for costs include equine expenses such as veterinary care, feed, blankets, enrichment activities, and more. Examples of client-related items include play-therapy tools, sanitizer, bottled water, counselor training, and more. Learn more here.

Is my donation tax-exempt?

Yes, as S.T.E.P.S. With Horses is a Texas Nonprofit and 501(c)(s) Tax-Exempt Charitable Organization all donations made to S.T.E.P.S. will be tax-exempt. Our determination letter can be provided upon request.

how will i recEIVE acknOWLEDGEMENT of my gift?

All donations made through the website will receive an automatic email confirmation. Donations made by mail will receive a mailed thank you letter.

is there a size limit on donations?

Donations made through our website must be at least $3.00. We are accepting any donation above that amount.

do you have a strategic plan?

Yes, we have a comprehensive Strategic Plan that includes an Overview, Background and Context, Goals and Objectives, and a SWOT analysis. The Strategic Plan is available by request by contacting us.

do you accept in-kind donations?
