Facts About Me
Breed: Draft horse mix
Born: 1999
Program(s): Equine Assisted Counseling, Therapeutic Horseback Riding
Year Joined Program: 2021
My Story
During the first part of my life, I was trained for dressage. Later, I joined Victory Therapy Center to provide therapeutic riding and hippotherapy for riders with special needs. After retiring from this important work, I was given to my old friend, Laura Hamrin and later donated to STEPS so that I can work as a counseling partner full-time and occasionally as a therapeutic riding partner.
Special Talents and Skills
I am very calm and steady and enjoy being brushed when clients talk to me. I am good at communicating my boundaries clearly so clients can learn not only what my limits are but also how to set their own limits with others.
I am patient as a riding horse and most enjoy helping independent riders fine-tune their riding skills.
