Facts About Me
Breed: American Quarter Horse
Born: 2006
Program(s): Equine Assisted Counseling
Year Joined Program: 2021

My Story

I recently joined the program from an equine rescue. I really enjoy working with people. As Maggie's best friend, I like to help her keep order in the herd. We take a team approach to herd management and stick together throughout most of the day. I am very social and can often be found checking in on our clients. I am currently in training for therapeutic riding.

Special Talents and Skills
I have a very calming and soothing presence. I often join sessions when I can sense that a client is feeling anxious or uneasy. I like to let them know that I will stick with by staying close throughout their sessions.

I enjoy helping my clients learn that they can handle big scary emotions. Whenever they're talking about something upsetting or becoming anxious, I show them that big emotions don't scare me and that they can be brave too. My calming presence provides a sharp contrast to the anxious feelings inside, helping them to stay grounded and process upsetting or traumatic events.
