STEPS With Horses is proud to offer a new Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) Group with an equine-assisted component--completely free for military veterans, active-duty service members, and their spouses, thanks to generous grant funding.
This program is designed for military families who may be navigating stress, transitions, or feelings of disconnection. Through engaging, experiential sessions, caregivers and their children can build stronger, more secure relationships in a supportive, hands-on environment.
About the Group 🐴 Evidence-Based Approach Grounded in Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), a research-backed intervention proven to enhance connection and emotional communication between parents and children. 🐴 Equine-Assisted Experiences No riding involved—parents engage in meaningful activities with therapy horses to reinforce skills and deepen the parent-child bond. 🐴 Military-Trained Professionals Sessions are led by licensed mental health professionals with experience in both military culture and equine-assisted counseling.
